December 4, 1898 [published and translated in John Rewald, ed., "Camille Pissarro, Letters to His Son Lucien," London, 1980, p. 333], mentions that he has rented an apartment at 204 rue de Rivoli, facing the Tuileries, and plans to paint a series based on the view [PV1097–1110, 1123–1136].
