Distinguished by its "ram's-head" extension, this zither is believed to have been modeled after the sixth century Chinese zheng. It is associated with court music and like most long zithers of East Asia, is plucked.
Marking: (inscribed on back in Korean) "Kim Kwang Ju No. 42 Human National Treasure"
