Red chalk. Original sheet, 15.7 x 6.6 cm.; this has been made up (probably by Mariette) to a sheet 23.7 x 15.2 cm. on which a base and a surrounding niche for the putto have been indicated in pen and brown ink, red chalk and brush with red wash.
