  • Signatures, Inscriptions, and Markings

    Inscription: Inscribed on recto at lower right in pen and brown ink script, "Cappella delle Reliquie/di S. Ciriaco d'Ancona". Scale inscribed in pen and brown ink along lower border, "[numbering: 5 10 20 30]". Annotated in graphite on verso, "A.16.87; 68.725.1".

    Marking: Watermark is fleur-de-lys in double circle surmounted by a "V", near Heawood 1591.
