The Astor Court, Chinese Garden
The model for The Astor Court is a small courtyard in the Garden of the Master of the Fishing Nets of Suzhou, a city west of Shanghai. In Chinese culture, designing and enjoying gardens is understood as one means to escape the "dusty world" of daily life, family and professional obligations, and politics.

Location: Chinese Art, second floor
