Filling the letter D, which begins the Mass for Palm Sunday, Christ and the apostles are about to enter the Temple of Jerusalem, preceded by a crowd of children crying "Hosanna to the Son of David." Several indistinct forms lightly sketched in the second bay of the temple may have been intended to represent the blind and lame healed by Christ, as detailed in the Gospel of Matthew.
