Greek
H. 15 in. (38.1 cm)
Rogers Fund, 1906 (06.1078)

This hydria is said to come from Galaxidi, a site in central Greece that has yielded many bronzes of the Classical period; the largest number are in the British Museum. However it may have served previously, this example was last used as a cinerary urn; it was found with the bones still inside.
