This oinochoe has a tall, semicircular spout at the top, a round body, and a foot with a concave profile. At the base of the spout, facing over the open mouth of the vase, is a bust of a woman with a daedalic hairstyle, which is a common feature of sculpted figures in the Archaic period. Her arms stretch around the perimeter of the rim, ending in a pair of upright circular disks with incised rosettes on the outer faces. Three small rivets, used to attach the handle to the body of the vase, are visible on the inner surface of the mouth. The space behind the woman's head is articulated with raised edges, forming a convenient thumb-rest for picking up the vase by its handle. At the bottom of the handle is a feline head above a palmette with seven short, rounded leaves. The upper part of the palmette is decorated with narrow rows of incised geometric patterns.
