Unrecorded, but probably acquired by Robert Lehman, New York, through Lock Galleries, New York, ca. 1958. [When Sauvage published the painting in 1956 the owner was not mentioned. The date of 1958 is given in the 1983 Oklahoma City Museum of Art catalogue of the Lehman Collection, p.84.]
