Museum's Holiday Monday Program Expands to Include The Cloisters

The Cloisters museum and gardens

The Cloisters museum and gardens—the branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe—will be open to the public on Met Holiday Mondays beginning April 9.

Holiday Mondays at The Cloisters represent an expansion of the Metropolitan Museum's popular Met Holiday Mondays, which began in 2004. These Monday openings provide an opportunity for the public to visit either or both of the Museum's locations on the Mondays of long holiday weekends, when traditionally the Museum has been closed.

The next Met Holiday Monday is April 9, when the Main Building will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and The Cloisters will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. See Visit The Cloisters: Hours and Admission for the schedule of upcoming Met Holiday Mondays at The Cloisters.
