Rose Lynn Mangan, the donor of this fabric, was given the piece by her friend Margery Hill, who lived in the Blacker House until she sold it in 1984. The silk panel was given to Mrs. Hill by Henry Winter. Henry Winter's brother William worked for L. C. Tiffany in the interior design department, and Henry had met Tiffany as well, and was a great admirer of his.
