Wineglass

Manufacturer Jersey Glass Company of George Dummer American

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 704

This wineglass is especially important because it is documented through a history of ownership in the Dummer family. The piece also has aesthetic merit in its distinctive clear green glass, which was an attempt to emulate the fashion for English Regency colored glass.
