THis electrotype is after a sixteenth-century original (1574–75), made for Henry III, King of France and Poland, at time of reproduction in the Louvre, Paris.
Marking: Affixed to inner wall of foot, an oval cast in relief: "Union Centrale des Arts Decoratifs" around the edge and a tree in the center. Stamped 468.
