Inscription: Crowned cipher, J B (?) (engraved on center of tray and back of snuffers box)

Marking: [1] G T, star between 2 pellets above, up-turned crescent below (maker's mark)
[2] Crowned K fleuronné (Bordeaux charge mark, 1725-30)
[3] B O R, fleur-de-lis and 2 pellets above, D below (Bordeaux warden's mark, 1724-25)
[4] Crowned B O R, E with 2 pellets below (Bordeaux warden's mark, 1725-32)
[5] Cartouche with rays and crescent (Bordeaux discharge mark, 1725-30)
[6] Boar's head (Paris restricted warranty mark for silver, 1838-79)
