Marking: [1] JEB within a diamond (maker's mark); [2] child's head and numeral 2 (Paris mark for 2nd standard gold, in use 1797); [3] cock and 2 in oval (Paris mark for 2nd standard gold, 1798–1809); [4] bearded head and 85 in circle (Paris medium excise mark for gold and silver, 1798–1809).
