The present drawing, as well as the large group of Tiffany Studios drawings that were acquired by the Museum in 1967 was purchased from Rita Lloyd from a stone/marble? dealer on Long Island. They were acquired by the stone/marble dealer presumably from Laurelton Hall, Tiffany's country estate on Long Island, or from the Tiffany Studios when they closed in 1932.
