Inscription: Cypher on the initial I ensigned by a baron's coronet possibly for Isabella, Lady Tweedmouth

Marking: [1] Leopard's head crowned (London mark);
[2] Lion passant guardant (hind part and tail only);
[3] S (London date letter for 1675/76);
[4] JC (or IA or TC), script, conjoined, crowned in circular punch.

Location of marks:
[1]–[4] on base, on facet to left of that with impaled arms, above the coroneted cypher
