Engraved on handle: Crest of Marow

Marking: [1] Leopard's head crowned;
[2] Lion passant guardant;
[3] London date letter for 1670–71;
[4] WC over scallop shell, between 2 pellets; (maker's mark, unrecorded);
[5] B over W, a pellet below and leafy branch (?) between, in shaped shield

Location of marks:
[1]–[4] in flat of tray (.55);
[2] on back of handle (.55);
[5] on snuffers (.56) inside trimmer-box; on blade of trimmer, on top side of each handle near finger-grips; on point of right handle beyond trimmer.
