This cooler, intended for liqueur bottles, is fitted with a central, removable panel that is perforated in a decorative pattern. These holes would allow the water from melting ice to flow from one side to another.
Marking: Painted in blue enamel on underside: [1] Crossed Ls enclosing a letter (B?) (Sèvres factory mark and presumed year letter); [2] Traces of a C or crescent (unidentified)
