This panel, with busts of a well-groomed young couple, probably comes from the type of outdoor funerary monuments often set up by prosperous freed slaves.
1903, found at the Villa Patrizi, Via Nomentana, Rome Until 1907, collection of Enrichetta Castellani, Rome; until 1909, collection of Joachim Ferroni, Rome; acquired in 1909, purchased through Jandolo and Tavazzi.
