This is a positive print of the image better known as a negative print, as in "60 Fotos" (1930), no. 18. Ergy Landau was a Hungarian photographer and a close friend of Moholy-Nagy. Weston Naef arranged in 1981 for eight Moholy-Nagy photographs, including this one, to be bought from Rapho for $1500 each by various collectors as promised gifts to the Museum.
