JCW catalog card indicates a title of "Dancing Wavelets" for this image. He also collected a contact print (MMA 1987.1100.432.2) showing the entire negative, which includes three other bathers, wire fence and mountainous landscape in distance. The verso of the contact print (a gelatin silver print measuring 8.8 x 6.2 cm. and with detail of larger print indicated with pencil marks on lower side) is inscribed: "The Boy Scouts // Swimming Pool // at Idyllwild // Tahquitz Peak in // distance - a fine // climb of 5 miles // to summit. // 6/20/31 // LF." Idyllwild is located in the San Jacinto Mountains of California.
