Eliza Parkinson was stepdaughter of the Museum of Modern Art's first president A. Conger Goodyear and a niece of one of its founders Lillie Bliss. Parkinson served as president of the Museum from 1965 to 1968. See photocopy of obituary in her correspondence folder 1994.260.14
