In this work, Acconci produced two photographs from the upper (hands over head) and lower (touching toes) extensions of his body; the results are less depictions of a scene than indices of a movement prescribed by the limits of the body in two directions.
Inscription: Signed, titled, and dated on mount beneath images: "ACCONCI", "TOE-TOUCH", "1969"; inscribed in unknown hand on dealer's mount, verso BC: "RMG# ac9710-010-0"
