This photograph, and 2003.562.1-.2, were removed by Simon Lowinsky and the donor from two albums purchased at auction: "Photographic Views of the Atlantic & Great Western Railroad, which contained, together, "Studies of 'the Excavations, Cuts, Bridges, Trestles, Stations, Buildings, and General Character of the Country' along the Atlantic & Great Western Railway Lines from Salamanca, New York to Akron, Ohio, and from Meadville to Oil City, Pennsylvania".
