Inscription: On verso, at the bottom, in graphite, "373"; in red crayon, "1363," "Alessandro Magnasco / 1681-1747"; at the lower right, in graphite, "No. 816" and "1080" (?). Other illegible annotations or marks in pen and black ink at lower left.

Marking: On verso, collector's mark stamped in blue of Comte Rey de Villette, at bottom left (Lugt suppl. 2200a). The initials are incomplete on the stamp but the stamp is identifiable through it shield-shape.
