View of the equestrian statue of Constantine the Great by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in its niche by the Scala Regia in the Vatican Palace. The statue depicts the emperor at the moment when he experiences a vision of the Holy Cross, just before the battle of the Milvian bridge.
