Inscription: The design is inscribed by the artist in pen and brown ink, within the roundel on the ceiling: "i Stuchi." At lower right: "pia[n]ta lunga p[almi] 20 / larga p[almi] 17 3/4."

Marking: Partial stamp in purple ink (Lugt 47a, as can be reconstructed from the examples of the stamp when whole) of the Duke of Savoia-Genova, probably to be identified with Tommaso Alberto Vittorio di Savoia-Genova (1854-1931).
