At right a long mill house on eigtheen piles crosses the river Aar. At left three wooden houses behind fencing cluster beneath large trees. Targets are setup beneath trees in the background at left. Near the bank at the center there a large wooden hut built on piles.
Inscription: In sky at left: 'Bey dem Shiessrein zu Strasburg'; at right: ' Spittal muhl'.
