A: within plate, running along lower edge of aquatint from left to right; B: upper left edge of unetched plate facing right;
C: within plate, bottom left corner of composition within the tone of the etched plate
D: right margin, centered, facing right
E: right margin, spaced along right edge of plate starting midway up the plate to the top with the last digit of the date in the top margin; faces out to the right

Inscription: Numbered in graphite [41/80] in varying locations on each print:
A: within plate, impression number on bottom right corner of aquatint; edition size in un-inked plate adjacent
B: bottom left corner, impression number left margin, the edition in bottom margin
C: within plate, bottom left corner to left of signature and date
D: within plate, bottom left corner to left of signature and date
E: bottom right of sheet, impression number within printed plate, edition size in right margin

Each print is lettered A through E on the verso.
