The ubiquitous motif of scholars enjoying a remote landscape is elegantly carved on the surface of this incense holder. The openwork decoration facilitates the release of fragrance from incense sticks burning inside.
Signature: To the left of the figure of Lu Jingxiu, and slightly lower, is the signature of the artist, Zhu Sansong.
