Rectangular design for the decoration of a tobacco box showing a central scene with a man and woman standing outside. The man has taken off his head and seems about to give the woman a letter. The scene is surrounded by a decorative frame filled with strapwork ending in leaves combined with two dwarfs, two small dragons, a mask on top and two string instruments below.
