Small, round celadon bottles were used as vessels for fragrant oils for the hair. Their forms range from bulbous to more flattened, and their designs from spare and elegant to whimsical. As the bottles and cosmetic box displayed here demonstrate, luxury items of Goryeo celadon were part of the boudoir of elite women.
