A couple is depicted in the foreground, consisting of a man with a turban and a woman in a dark mask wearing a headdress made out of the feathers of a peacock plus matching fan. Their hands meet in the center of the print. Behind them, a torch bearer with a smokey torch resembling a large candle is visible.
