Trade cards from the "Scenes of Perilous Occupations" series (N86), issued in a set of 50 cards in 1888 to promote W. Duke Sons & Co. brand cigarettes. There are four variations of the cards with different background colors: green, grey, yellow, and violet. The verso of each card relates the dangers inherent to the occupation depicted on the recto.
