Sudaba gets hold of stillborn twins, claiming they were me result of her rape by Siyavush and that their miscarriage was brought about by her distress. Kai Kavus now summons his astrologers, but they rule that the twins could not be children of Kai Kavus or Sudaba. She accuses the astrologers of lying in fear of punishment from Siyavush and Rustam.
