Mashrabiyya Screens

Not on view

A group of three turned lattice-work screens reveals the diversity of techniques available to woodworkers. The three large panels show two different kinds of mashrabiyya-making techniques. The salibi or cross-shaped one is shown in both the middle and the small panels. The maymoun, meaning "blessed," technique is shown on the upper panel.
