Marking: Watermark of R. Williams, recorded 1776-89 (Churchill no. 215) On the verso, pencil sketches in two compartments: above, figures in conference; below, a figure descending a staircase with balustrades being shot by a figure at the left and being supported as he falls backward by a figure behind him, with another figure at the top of the stairs and two more armed figures at the right.
