The body of this vessel is essentially the same as the short beaker shown nearby (2011.21), but with the addition of a stem and openwork foot. Only two other examples of this elaborated form are known. The distinctive bluish green color is similar to that of other glassware excavated along the Rhine River in the vicinity of Mainz.
