Under vermilion skies, fired by a sinking
sun, twilight clouds thicken,
Bringing cinnabar cliffs and jasper trees
to stand among spires of jade.
Beaten by wind, a spring pours to the
valley below, flying a thousand feet,
It sprays into a brocade sea of peach
blossom waves.
