Signature: "(I) painted this colored landscape in the style of (Ni) Yunlin (1301–1374) at (my) Peking residence, the Guzhi Hall. The seventy-four year old man, Wang Yuanqi"

Four artist's seals: a small gourd-shaped seal ahead of the inscription which reads "The Essence", two seals after the signature which read "Wang Yuanqi's seal" and "Lutai" and another on the lower right which reads "Calligraphy and painting by Lutai".

Dated: 1715, Mid-autumn, after the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
