Tri-Lobed Vessel and Contents (Perforated Vessel Series)

Designer Tony Marsh American

Not on view

The spare forms assembled in this work by ceramist Tony Marsh are laden with mystery. The soft, matte glaze seems to mask a mechanized material, such as perforated metal, while simultaneously suggesting sea sponges or sunbleached coral. The contents of the vessel cryptically remain unknown.
