Head of statue

Late Period– Ptolemaic Period
4th century BC or later
On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 130
Stylistically, this head can be dated to the later Late Period or early Ptolemaic era. The top of a supporting pillar at the back shows this to have come from a standing figure.
