This small pottery jug was sealed with a piece of linen cloth. It was found in the tomb of Hatnefer inside a basket that is now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. This basket also contained a razor (36.3.69), a necklace (36.3.70), another sealed jar (36.3.68), and a linen sheet (36.3.140).
