Probably from western Thebes, Wadi Gabbanat el-Qurud, Wadi D, Tomb 1, found during World War I. Majority of beads purchased from Howard Carter, 1919-1920. Accessioned with other objects presumed to be from the same tomb, 1926. One fish bead acquired with Carnarvon Collection, 1926. The ring beads seen at Galerie Nefer, Zurich, 1980; purchased from that gallery, 1987. Published in Christine Lilyquist, The Tomb of Three Foreign Wives of Tuthmosis III, 2003, cat. 136, 210.
