Cosmetic box

This small cosmetic box, elegantly constructed from contrasting strips of wood and closed with a sliding lid, was found inside a larger toilet box (27.3.1). Inside was a small oval jar (27.3.7) that probably once held some sort of unguent or perfumed oil.
