Kumo narau
arashi ni ho kite
kiyaku fune
mo sen fune mo nami
no Awazu ni yoru

Behind the stormy wind
clearing away the clouds
myriad ships gather
on the waves at Awazu.
Signature: Hiroshige ga

Inscription: Poem:
As if they were brought together by the winds that cleared the clouds,
A great number of boats are gathering at the shore of Awazu.
