Inscription: The inscription indicates that the triad was executed in the third year of the Kaihuang era (583) and that it was sponsored by the Buddhist devotee Qin Kuangxian. He offered this image on behalf of both his ancestors for the past seven generations and his living parents and family in order to achieve the fulfillment of all their wishes. No explicit mention of being Guanyin is included in the inscription.
