Full page portrait of Hughes Brisville. Brisville is depicted at his desk; behind him is a view of a landscape. The portrait is framed within an oval decorated with twisting acanthus leaves and an inscribed scroll, as well as four composite winged putto and plant figures. The portrait and oval frame are further surrounded by a decorative border ornamented with coiling acanthus vines. Interspersed throughout the vines are grotesque heads in the form of leaves, various animals, animal heads, and composite human and plant figures.
