Engraving, part of a set of 8 prints created by Delaune after Marcantonio Raimondi, Raphael, Rosso, and Michelangelo. This print represents a lion hunt from Ancient Rome, with two lions on the first plate, surrounded by soldiers on horseback and on foot, and women with draped robes that leave their chests partially uncovered, in front of a forest. This is an inverted copy of a print by Marcantonio Raimondi.
